Deirdre Ryan

Deirdre Ryan has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Deirdre started their career at RTE in 1988 as a Library Assistant, and later transitioned into roles as a Broadcasting Assistant and Researcher. In 1998, they became a Vision Mixer at RTE. In 2002, Deirdre began freelancing as a Vision Mixer. In 2004, they co-founded The Production People and served as the Executive Director.

Deirdre Ryan began their education journey in Dublin, Ireland, where they attended St. Joseph's Secondary School on Berkley Road. From 1983 to 1988, they completed their Leaving Certificate, which served as their high school diploma. Later, in 1989, Deirdre enrolled at Dublin Business School and pursued a degree in AAT Accounting Technician, which they completed in 1991. After a significant gap, Deirdre decided to further their education and enrolled at Ulster University in 2018. Deirdre graduated in 2021 with a BA (Hons) in Management Practice, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
