Josephine is a Client and Family Services Coordinator at PJI. She graduated from Gonzaga University in 2022 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Communication Studies. Josephine is originally from Seattle, Washington, but recently moved to New Orleans to work for PJI as a Jesuit Volunteer Corps member. Passionate about social justice, Josephine is dedicated to being an advocate and working for fair treatment and structural change in addressing causes of injustice.

The Promise of Justice Initiative offers civil litigation and strategic criminal representation to reform and challenge the injustices of the criminal legal system. They support their clients and families directly by organizing family visits. They are providing funds for commissaries and helping them navigate their incarceration.
