Samuel Pollak

Samuel Pollak is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Staff Reporter for the Provincetown Independent since October 2022, focusing on local issues such as housing, the environment, and criminal justice. Prior to this role, Samuel gained valuable experience as a Borderlands Ambassador Intern at the Border Community Alliance, where assistance was provided in the asylum process, and as an Indie Film Distribution Intern at HapaLis Productions, where website updates and marketing campaigns were developed. Additional internships included positions at Okay Goodnight and BlueCat Screenplay Competition, focusing on script analysis and feedback. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Film Studies from Wesleyan University and furthered film education at UCLA and Universidad de Los Andes.
