Connor Raso currently serves as Deputy General Counsel at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) since June 2022. Raso has contributed to the Brookings Institution's Economics Studies Series on Regulatory Process and Perspective since January 2017, providing insights on federal regulation. Memberships include The American Law Institute and the Administrative Conference of the United States, where Raso chairs the Committee on Regulation and serves as the SEC's voting member. Previous roles include Special Senior Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Legal Advisor at the Federal Trade Commission, and Counsel for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Raso has also held academic positions as an adjunct professor and lecturer in law at Georgetown University and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively. Raso holds a JD from Yale Law School, a PhD from Stanford University, an MA from Victoria University of Wellington, and a BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
