Jaclyn G.

Jaclyn G. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2009, they worked as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Jaclyn then moved on to positions such as Programs Intern/Volunteer Coordinator at the San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation and Health Disparities Prevention Program Coordinator at Embrace San Diego in 2011 and 2012, respectively.

In 2012, Jaclyn joined the SDSU Research Foundation as a Research Assistant for a year before transitioning to Rescue | The Behavior Change Agency. Here, they served as a Jr. Research Associate from 2014 to 2015, followed by a role as a Research Associate from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Jaclyn took on a Health Communications Specialist position as a freelancer and worked in this capacity until 2017. That same year, they joined The Public Good Projects (PGP), an influential public health nonprofit. Their roles at PGP included Director of Health Communications from 2016 to 2019, Senior Director of Programs from 2018 to 2019, Vice President of Programs from 2019 to 2020, and currently, they serve as the Chief Programs Officer.

Through their work experience, Jaclyn has gained expertise in health communications and behavior change programs, adopting evidence-based approaches, leading cross-sector initiatives, and implementing scientifically evaluated projects to address public health challenges.

Jaclyn G. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Human Biology, with a focus on Brain and Behavior, from Brown University. Jaclyn attended this university from 2005 to 2009.

Following their undergraduate degree, Jaclyn pursued further education at the Graduate School of Public Health, San Diego State University. From 2011 to 2013, they obtained their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, specializing in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science.
