Wunmi Tunde-Obe

Wunmi Tunde-Obe is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and innovation, currently serving as the Executive Director at Punch Newspapers since January 2025. As the Owner and CEO of United Hairways Beauty Company since June 2000, Tunde-Obe is set to launch a new Afro hair care product line, while also spearheading IYA IBADAN Local Cuisine, a restaurant offering traditional dishes from western Nigeria, since January 2016. Additionally, Tunde-Obe has led kopykats, an event and music marketing and promotions company, as MD/CEO since June 2001. Prior experience includes a senior managerial role in copy at LTC/JWT from October 1995 to February 2001, focusing on creative advertising campaigns. Tunde-Obe holds a B.A. (Hons) in Philosophy, English, and History from the University of Lagos, earned between 1987 and 1992.
