Anne Shinn

Program Manager at The QED Group

Anne Shinn has a work experience that spans several years and includes various roles in different organizations. From 2004 to 2005, they worked for Social & Scientific Systems as an Assignment Manager on the POPTECH Project, where they collaborated with USAID/Washington and USAID Missions in refining scopes of work for reproductive health and family planning programs. Anne also handled budget management and prepared logistical and technical aspects of consultant assignments.

In 2006, Anne Shinn interned as a Health Intern at BRAC's Health and Nutrition Division. During this internship, they conducted a review of ongoing programs targeting drug users in Dhaka City and designed a pilot HIV/AIDS intervention based on the results of an exploratory research study they conducted.

Since 2007, Anne Shinn has been working for The QED Group, LLC as a Program Manager on the Global Health Technical Assistance (GH Tech) Project. In this role, they serve as the primary management, administrative, and backstopping resource to USAID Bureau for Global Health in providing technical assistance for health, population, and HIV/AIDS activities. Anne also explores new directions for health programs.

Overall, Anne Shinn has demonstrated expertise in project management, program design, monitoring and evaluation, and technical assistance in the field of global health.

Anne Shinn completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French at Huntingdon College from 1995 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Health degree in Global Public Health from Columbia University, which they accomplished from 2005 to 2007.
