Kate Barber

Kate Barber has a diverse range of work experience in the publishing industry. Kate has held various roles such as Head of Special Sales at The Quarto Group, Senior Special Sales Manager at Ryland Peters and Small, Senior Sales Manager at Paperstyle Books, and Key Account Manager - Special Sales at Simon & Schuster UK. Kate'sresponsibilities have involved selling into non-trade and gift markets, managing budgets and stock control, and increasing sales year on year. Kate also has experience in publicity and marketing, event organization, and working with authors. Kate has a strong background in special sales, gifting, and handling complex customer requirements.

Kate Barber attended Colne Community School from 2000 to 2005, where they completed their GCSE's. Kate then went on to Sixth Form College from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate. From 2007 to 2012, Kate attended the University of East Anglia, earning a degree in American and English Literature. In 2008, they also briefly studied Classical Floristry at Writtle University College, obtaining a City & Guilds Certificate.
