Philip Cooper

Philip Cooper is an experienced publishing professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Publisher for Frances Lincoln, White Lion Publishing, and Quintessence at The Quarto Group since May 2015, Philip has previously held the position of Editorial Director at Laurence King Publishing Ltd from January 2001 to May 2015, where responsibilities included overall company management and oversight of architecture, interior design, film titles, and digital publishing. Earlier in the career at Macmillan Publishers, Philip wrote and edited around 300 articles on 19th and 20th century art for the Dictionary of Art from 1990 to 1995. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Modern Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Philosophy and Politics from the University of Oxford.
