Stephanie Carbajal is a seasoned freelance nonfiction editor, writer, and project manager with extensive experience in the lifestyle industry, specializing in art & craft, DIY, design, and various forms of illustrated nonfiction. Since September 2015, Stephanie has been self-employed, providing creative direction, content development, editing, and writing services to notable clients such as Blue Star Press and Chronicle Books. Additionally, Stephanie has served as a freelance acquiring editor and project manager for The Quarto Group, where responsibilities included acquiring art & craft titles and managing editorial workflows. Previous roles include senior and associate editor positions at Plural Publishing, along with editorial and writing internships that laid a strong foundation for a successful career in publishing and project management. Stephanie holds a Bachelor's Degree in English, Biblical Studies, and Graphic Design from the University of Northwestern.
