Ameer Kotecha is a trustee for both RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries) and The Queen's Commonwealth Trust, where efforts focus on supporting young leaders across the Commonwealth as envisioned by Ameer's late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Additionally, Ameer Kotecha is engaged in the Diplomatic Service Fast Stream at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office since 2015. Notable entrepreneurial contributions include co-founding The Platinum Pudding Competition and authoring The Platinum Jubilee Cookbook. Previous roles encompass a range of positions including chef stagiaire at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, financial analyst at AgDevCo, and internships at prominent organizations such as the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Simmons & Simmons. Ameer Kotecha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.

The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust (QCT) was launched in 2018 in recognition of Her Majesty The Queen’s lifetime of service to others and her love for the Commonwealth and its young people. We are driven by her vision, and through our work with Young Leaders all over the world we are creating a lasting legacy in Her Majesty’s name. We put young Commonwealth leaders at the centre of everything we do, and provide their organisations with flexible funding to invest where it has the greatest impact, practical tools and support to make their organisations sustainable and more impactful, and a vibrant network of over 850 like-minded young leaders to share learnings and ideas. We have set up the QCT Platinum Jubilee Fund for 70 Young Leaders in support of their initiatives and in celebration of our Patron’s Platinum Jubilee and 70 years of service.
