Rachel Treasurer

Rachel Treasurer is a skilled digital content manager with extensive experience in social media management and digital marketing. Currently serving at The R&A since March 2022, Rachel oversees social media for various channels including amateur championship platforms. Prior to this role, Rachel was a digital marketing officer at Highlands and Islands Enterprise from August 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included managing social media and leading a website project. Rachel began their career as a news and sports reporter for Scottish Provincial Press, working on the Inverness Courier and the Highland News. Rachel also has experience in television as a presenter for the Community Channel's "Brilliant Scotland." Rachel holds a Bachelor's with Honours degree in Journalism from Robert Gordon University, earned between 2011 and 2015.
