Alex Eade

Alex Eade currently serves as the Secretary General for The Large Independent Racecourse Group, providing strategic advice to prominent UK racecourses including Ascot, Chester, Goodwood, Newbury, and York. In addition, Alex holds the position of Vice Chairman at The Racecourse Association Ltd. Previous roles include Commercial Director at LW Theatres, General Manager at The Goodwood Group, and various positions within the British Army, culminating in an Officer role. Early career experience includes positions at Betfair as Director of Sporting Affairs and Head of Market Operations, as well as a Junior Officer in the Royal Engineers. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.
