Desrene Walton

Desrene Walton is a seasoned professional in the field of fundraising and event management, currently serving as the Director of Social Impact at the Real Estate Board of New York since December 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Manager of Individual Giving at the Apollo Theater from May 2021 to December 2023, where significant accomplishments included redesigning the Individual Giving Program and achieving 80% growth post-pandemic. Desrene has extensive experience at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where roles spanned from Senior Development Assistant/Specialist to Manager of Special Events, resulting in noticeable increases in membership growth and fundraising effectiveness.
