Robert Cormie

Robert Cormie is an experienced professional in loss prevention and asset protection, currently serving as Vice President of Asset Protection and Facilities at The RealReal since 2017. Prior roles at The RealReal include Senior Director of Loss Prevention and Shortage Control and Director of Loss Prevention and Facilities. Previously, Robert worked at Bloomingdale's from 2013 to 2017, where positions included Northern California Trade Area Senior Operations Manager and Northern California Senior Loss Prevention Manager. Earlier experience includes roles at Nordstrom from 2008 to 2013, progressing from Loss Prevention Agent to Area Loss Prevention Manager. Robert began a career in law enforcement as a Crime Analysis & Research Intern at the Phoenix Police Department in 2007. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies with a minor in Communications from Arizona State University.
