Richard Smith has significant experience in the insurance and real estate sectors. Currently serving as an Extended Handler 2 at The General® since November 2021, Richard evaluates and investigates policy coverage, liability, and damages, conducting interviews and collecting evidence as per claim guidelines. Additionally, Richard has been an Affiliate Broker with The Realty Association since July 2018, assisting clients with real estate needs in the middle Tennessee area. Prior to these roles, Richard worked as a Casualty Claims Adjuster II at Acceptance Insurance from March 2015 to November 2021, where comprehensive investigations were conducted to ascertain coverage and liability. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services and a Master of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.

The Realty Association is one of Tennessee's largest single real estate offices, providing full service support services to approximately 200 highly trained sales people. Our goal is to offer the finest resources available to the agents who affiliate with us so that they will be able to offer the highest level of professional service to their buyers and sellers. The Realty Association has been serving Middle Tennesse for 30 years.
