Michael Ashford is the Director of Marketing at The Receptionist for iPad. Michael has over three years of experience in sales and marketing operations, product marketing, and account management.
Previously, Michael was the Vice President of Product Marketing at Granicus, where they were responsible for building out the product marketing organization and developing structure and process around product messaging, collateral, new product/feature awareness, customer advisory and user groups, competitive intelligence, and customer marketing.
Before Granicus, Michael worked as the Sales and Marketing Operations Manager at Rhythm Engineering. In this role, they directed and coordinated all sales support activities, including the management of Account Development Engineers and Account Development Representatives. Michael was also responsible for creating, managing and monitoring sales support metrics, and coordinating sales needs with the Marketing department.
Michael has a proven track record in developing and executing effective marketing strategies that drive product adoption and sales growth. Michael is an excellent communicator and presenter, with a keen ability to connect with customers and understand their needs.
Michael Ashford has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University. Michael is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT). Michael is also certified by HubSpot Academy as an Inbound Certified.
