The Recovery Project
Lauren Cook PT, DPT is a dedicated physical therapist currently employed at The Recovery Project since November 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Student Physical Therapist at ProMedica and Superior Physical Therapy, where Lauren completed 10-week clinical rotations in acute care and outpatient orthopedic settings, respectively. Additionally, Lauren has experience treating neurological diagnoses while collaborating with occupational and speech therapists during a rotation at The Recovery Project. Early career experience includes a student role at NovaCare Rehabilitation and prior work as a Rehabilitation Technician at Plymouth Physical Therapy. Lauren earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Michigan-Flint and a bachelor's degree from Albion College.

Founded in 2003, with a focus on physical therapy and rehabilitation of individuals with spinal cord, traumatic brain and other neurological disorders. State of the art equipment for occupational and physical therapy including LSVT, vestibular rehab, fall prevention for seniors, myofascial release therapy, and medical massage.
