Omar Balaa

Omar Balaa is an accomplished Projects Manager at Red Sea Global since April 2022, leading major projects including the Red Sea Marine Life Institute, Ritz Carlton Hotel, and Amaala Yacht Club, focusing on ultra-luxury hospitality and environmental sustainability with a contract value of $300 million. Prior to this role, Omar served as Construction Manager at Webuild from March 2020 to July 2022, managing the Qasr Al Hokm Downtown Metro Station project in Riyadh with a budget of $376 million, and held multiple positions within El Seif Engineering Contracting, overseeing the King Abdullah Project for Developing the Security Headquarters worth $661 million. With earlier engineering roles at STRABAG International, Ed. Züblin AG, and Züblin Singapore, alongside a mechanical engineering background, Omar has built a solid foundation in civil engineering and project management, supported by a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a Master’s degree from the University of Maryland.
