Barbara Solomon

Barbara Solomon has a strong background in executive leadership and philanthropy. Barbara has served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Bread & Roses since 2004. Prior to that, Barbara was the Chief Executive Officer at The Redwoods, a multi-level retirement community in Mill Valley, from 2001 onwards. In this role, they focused on promoting wellness and healthy aging for moderate and low-income elders. Additionally, they served as the Executive Director at Episcopal Community Services from 1992 to 2001. During their tenure, they oversaw the provision of various services to homeless adults and families in San Francisco. Overall, Barbara Solomon has extensive experience in managing organizations and advocating for the well-being of vulnerable populations.

Barbara Solomon pursued their education between 1975 and 1977 at Columbia University Graduate School of Social Work. During this time, they obtained a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degree, specializing in the field of Social Work.
