James Boehm

James Boehm is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and advocacy. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Alliance Counseling and The Refuge Center for Counseling since October 2019, James also owns and operates Learning Ally while mentoring individuals. Additionally, James is involved with You Cane Give and Kustom Cane, having taken on roles as a student, owner, and advocate since August 2011. Previously, James worked as a group and individual mental health counselor at the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center from January 2017 to May 2019. James holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Peabody College and a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from MTSU, with a minor in social work and mental health services.
