Kay Echols, D.Min, LMFT, currently serves as a Staff Therapist and Neurofeedback Clinician at The Refuge Center for Counseling since January 2021, and also holds a position as a Coordinator of Volunteers at United Way of Greater Nashville. Previous roles include volunteering for Crisis Text Line in 2023, teaching and tutoring at The Learning Lab/Gateway Academy from March 2021 to July 2022, and working as a Special Education Teacher with the Chambers County School System from January 2016 to May 2018. Earlier experience includes child care at Trinity United Methodist Church and roles in food service and retail. Kay Echols obtained a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Amridge University and holds multiple degrees from Auburn University, including a Master of Education in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History.
