Kathleen Farr, LPC-MHSP, is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and research. Currently serving as a Staff Therapist specializing in Neurofeedback at The Refuge Center for Counseling since April 2019, Kathleen has also engaged as a Contract Therapist and Post Master’s Volunteer at the same organization. Prior experience includes working as a Therapist at Ross Behavioral Group and various roles at Vanderbilt University, including Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. Kathleen has contributed significantly to research projects, including a grant-funded study on cognitive flexibility at Georgetown University and pediatric intervention research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. With a Master of Education in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgetown University, Kathleen combines academic knowledge with practical experience in clinical settings.
