Director Of Compassionate Care at The Refuge Center for Counseling

Michelle Nagy has a diverse work experience in counseling and education. Michelle worked as a Director of Compassionate Care and Contract Therapist at The Refuge Center for Counseling from 2018 to present. Michelle also worked as a Contract Therapist at Connection First Counseling from 2019 to 2021. In addition, they served as a Child Caregiver at West End United Methodist Church from 2013 to 2021. Michelle was a Research Assistant at Fuchs Reading Intervention Program from 2016 to 2019, where they assisted in implementing a reading comprehension tutoring program. Michelle was a High School Teacher at Harpeth High School from 2013 to 2016 and an Intern at David Klimek & Associates, PC in 2012. Lastly, they were a Team Advisor at the National Student Leadership Conference from 2010 to 2012, where they helped facilitate leadership programs for high school students.

Michelle Nagy attended Canton High School from 2005 to 2009. Michelle then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Education, and Spanish at Denison University from 2009 to 2013. Recently, from 2016 to 2019, they studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Vanderbilt Peabody College.
