Jill Bond, MPA, serves as the Editor at The Register-Guard since June 2025, leading the reporting team. Previously, as News Director at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK from April 2021 to June 2025, Jill managed a newsroom team, ensuring effective news coverage and audience engagement while overseeing operational aspects. Jill's expertise extends to partnership development at the U.S. Census Bureau, where responsibilities included negotiating collaborations for the 2020 Census. Earlier roles include Outreach Coordinator for Indiana University's Sustainability Development Program and various editorial positions at newspapers, including managing teams and driving digital initiatives. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
