Lee Clark has held various roles throughout their work experience. Lee started their career in 1985 as a Senior Accountant at Brown Edwards before joining The Roanoke Times in 1988. At The Roanoke Times, they worked as a Major Accounts Executive and later became the Classified Advertising Manager. In 2001, they joined Rescue Mission of Roanoke as the Director of Development & Administration, where they successfully led the development team and directed marketing and public relations efforts. In 2011, Lee joined the American Red Cross as the CEO of the Virginia Mountain Region and later became the Chief Operating Officer for Virginia. During their tenure, they implemented strategic measures to enhance the organization's credibility and visibility, while consistently meeting fundraising goals. In 2017, they became the Chief Executive Officer at the Rescue Mission of Roanoke.
Lee Clark obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Radford University, which was completed from 1981 to 1985. In July 1987, Lee Clark also obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy.
