Gaby Seim is an experienced professional with a diverse background in administrative support, communications, and user experience. Currently serving as the Web and User Experience Lead at The Research Foundation for SUNY since May 2011, Gaby oversees public website content management and leads the review and training of communications tools and platforms. Previous roles include Executive Assistant at Lynne Francey & Associates, where responsibilities involved managing candidate resumes and database updates, and Computer Operator at the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities. Gaby has also held public affairs positions at Warner Cable and Time Warner Cable, focusing on community engagement and event organization. Early career experience includes customer support and administrative roles at Pharmascience Inc. and IA Systems. Gaby studied at Dawson College from 1982 to 1984.

The Research Foundation for the State University of New York (RF) is the largest, most comprehensive university-connected research foundation in the country. It exists to serve the State University of New York (SUNY) by providing essential sponsored programs administration and innovation support services to SUNY faculty, students and staff who perform life-changing research in life sciences and medicine; engineering and nanotechnology; physical sciences and energy; social sciences; and computer and information sciences. The RF manages SUNY’s research portfolio assisting SUNY faculty, students and staff through every step of the research grant process, allowing them to focus on their work and ensuring compliance with SUNY, grant sponsor and government requirements.
