Laurel McAdoo

Laurel McAdoo has extensive experience in human resources and nonprofit leadership. Since January 2000, Laurel has served as the Director of Talent, Culture, and Inclusion at The Research Foundation for SUNY, acting as a subject matter expert and liaison for employees on relevant issues. In addition to this role, Laurel holds the position of Assistant Director of Human Resources, focusing on recruitment, wellbeing initiatives, diversity, and staff engagement. Since 2012, Laurel has also been the Executive Director of the Myles of Smyles Foundation, a nonprofit established in memory of Laurel's son, Myles McAdoo, who passed away from brain cancer. Laurel earned a degree from SUNY Empire State College between 2004 and 2010.
