Nicole Whetstine has a varied and extensive work experience in the field of research administration and grants management. Nicole is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Sponsored Programs Administration at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University under The Research Foundation for SUNY since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2013 to 2022, where they held roles such as Associate Director of Post Award Grant Administration, Associate Director of Financial Research Administration Compliance, and Grant Administrator. Before that, they worked at Daytona State College from 2007 to 2013, serving as the Grants Management Coordinator and Foundation Specialist.

Nicole Whetstine has a strong educational background in the field of education and nonprofit management.
