Stefan Brooks

Stefan Brooks, CRA, currently serves as the Assistant Director for Proposal Management at The Research Foundation for SUNY since 2017, where responsibilities include supporting faculty and staff in securing research funding, managing the review and submission of various research proposals. Prior roles at the same organization include Senior Research Administrator and Research Administrator, focusing on funding support and proposal management. Previously, Stefan worked at JBS International, Inc. from 2009 to 2015, advancing from Project Coordinator to Reviews Manager, leading a team to assist a federal agency with funding reviews. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Research Analyst at the Corporate Executive Board and Account Manager at the Investor Responsibility Research Center. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Education Policy from the University of Maryland College Park and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from American University.
