Tom Reale is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Research Administrator at The Research Foundation for SUNY since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tom worked as an Import/Export Analyst at USDA, where responsibilities included researching and applying relevant regulations pertaining to veterinary accreditation and import/export activities. Tom has extensive experience in social media management, having held positions such as Director of Social Media and New Media Specialist for the New York State Senate. Additionally, Tom has experience in local politics as a candidate for Mayor of Troy, NY, and has worked as a freelance writer and sports journalist for various publications. Tom's educational background includes a Master of International Affairs from the University at Albany, a BS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a MS in Sports Management from St. Cloud State University. Tom also served as a Motor Transport Operator in the United States Army, transporting supplies in active war zones.

The Research Foundation for the State University of New York (RF) is the largest, most comprehensive university-connected research foundation in the country.
