Vice President Of Planning & Public Policy at The Research Triangle Park

Travis Crayton, AICP, currently serves as Vice President of Planning & Public Policy at Research Triangle Park since August 2021, with prior roles including Senior Director of Planning, Senior Planner & Project Manager, and Planner & Project Coordinator. Crayton's experience encompasses a position as Community Planner at the U.S. DOT Volpe National Transportation Systems Center from May 2017 to July 2021, and as a Weiss Senior Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2016 to May 2018. Additional experience includes a Transportation Planning Internship at AECOM, a Research Assistantship at the UNC School of Government, and a Research Assistantship at Duke University. Crayton holds two master's degrees in City & Regional Planning and Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Political Science from the same institution, and is recognized as a UNC Robertson Scholar from Duke University.
