Cynthia Schanuel

Cynthia Schanuel is an experienced professional in human resources and supplier engagement, currently serving as Manager of Integration - Supplier Engagement at The Resource Group since July 2017. In this role, Cynthia has effectively enforced Ascension's Vendor Access Policy, enhanced supplier intake processes, and developed tools to streamline supplier inquiries. Prior to this, Cynthia held various positions at Ascension Health, including Sr. HR Business Partner and HR Deployment Capability Lead, where strategic HR practices were implemented to enhance associate retention and operational efficiency. Cynthia's career also includes leadership roles in human resources at organizations such as Opaa! Food Management, Catholic Health Association, and Midwest Employers Casualty Company. Cynthia holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Lindenwood University.
