Geoff Nielson

Geoff Nielson has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Geoff started their career as a Sr. Auditor at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, where they supervised staff auditors and presented control weaknesses and improvement recommendations to executive management and audit committees. Geoff then worked as a Business Solutions Manager at MCI WORLDCOM Communications Inc, leading a team of analysts in auditing operations systems and identifying areas for improvement. Geoff then joined Cox Communications as the Director of Business Assurance, where they established the Assurance Department and ensured Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Following that, they worked as an Audit Manager at CHAN Healthcare Auditors, overseeing the internal audit department and reporting audit findings to the audit committee. Currently, Geoff holds a position at The Resource Group as an Area Vice President and Regional Integration Officer, responsible for implementing integrated solutions and addressing supply costs. Geoff has also held previous roles at The Resource Group as Vice President & Area Chief Resource Officer and Area Executive Director of Supply Chain Operations, where they managed day-to-day operations and implemented inventory enhancements.

Geoff Nielson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University, which they attended from 1993 to 1999. Geoff further pursued higher education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration from Tarleton State University, completing their studies from 2013 to 2015. In addition, Geoff Nielson obtained a certification as a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in May 2005. Prior to their university education, they attended Davis High School from 1990 to 1993.
