The Retreat
Lauren Ameruoso is an accomplished professional with a strong background in prevention education, community development, and student leadership. As a Prevention Education & Distance Learning Specialist at The Retreat since August 2020, Lauren has developed and facilitated numerous interactive workshops focused on vital topics such as healthy relationships and leadership. Prior experience at Lafayette College includes roles as Head Resident Advisor, where Lauren oversaw multiple residential facilities and trained resident advisors, and Co-President of the One Love Foundation, facilitating workshops on dating violence and abuse awareness. Additionally, Lauren has contributed to campus life through various leadership positions, including President of Lafayette Student Alumni Council and Director of Student Life, highlighting a commitment to enhancing community engagement and promoting an inclusive campus environment. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Italian Studies from Lafayette College.

The Retreat is a 501(c)(3) domestic violence organization which provides a wide array of direct services, including five core services of Crisis Hotline, Domestic Violence Shelter, Legal Advocacy, Counseling, and Prevention Education.
