Jan Lehtinen

Jan Lehtinen has extensive experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on electrical and technical roles. Jan started their career in 2010 as a Rig Electrician at Ocean Rig, where they planned and performed maintenance on drilling equipment and electrical systems. Jan then worked as a Senior Electronic Technician at Seadrill and Sevan Drilling ASA, where they continued to specialize in maintenance and operation of drilling equipment, switchboards, and thruster systems. In 2016, Jan transitioned into a Project Manager role at Ecomar Ltd, where they were responsible for planning, budgeting, and overseeing projects. Jan later worked as an Electrical Superintendent at Poseidon Maritime Services, Viking Line, and Stena Drilling, gaining experience in supervision and management. Most recently, Jan served as the Chief Electrician at Viking Cruises before joining The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection as the Chief Electro Technical Officer in 2022.

Jan Lehtinen attended Ålands Sjömansskola from 1998 to 2001. Jan pursued a degree in Technical studies with a focus on Ship Electrician.
