Sam Dean is an experienced editorial professional currently serving as Editorial Director at The River Group since May 2021. Previously, Sam held the position of Content Editor at Marks and Spencer from June 2018 to September 2019 and served as Editorial Director for Fabled by Marie Claire at Ocado Group between January 2016 and February 2018. Additional roles include Creative Copywriter for Beauty at both Burberry and Sephora, and Beauty Director at Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics. Before these positions, Sam worked as a Beauty Editor for Redwood Publishing BOOTS HEALTH & BEAUTY MAGAZINE and as a Senior Beauty Editor at Time Warner Inc. INSTYLE.COM. From 2001 to 2009, Sam was associated with Hearst Magazines, contributing as Senior Beauty Editor, Acting Beauty Director, and Deputy Health & Beauty Editor. Sam holds a degree from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, completed in 1997.
