Alison Furber Ceng

Alison Furber PhD CEng is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in water and flood risk management. Currently a member of the Data and Evidence Team at The Rivers Trust since November 2020, Alison specializes in interpreting and communicating data in collaboration with local trusts. Prior roles include Principal Engineer and Appraisals Team Lead at Metis Consultants Ltd, where Alison delivered services to local authority clients, and a Master's research student at McGill University, focusing on decision-making processes for the St Lawrence Region. Alison's earlier experience includes internships and research roles, emphasizing sustainability in engineering education and various aspects of water resource management. Educational qualifications comprise a Bioresource Engineering degree from McGill University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Structural Engineering with Architecture from The University of Edinburgh.
