Jeffrey Leer

Jeff Leer is an experienced executive in the financial sector, currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer at AlerisLife since June 2019 and previously held positions as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer. With a strong background at The RMR Group since February 2013, Jeff has progressed from Assistant Controller to Senior Vice President. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Office Properties Income Trust and SEC Reporting Manager at Boston Scientific. Jeff’s career began in auditing at Arthur Andersen, followed by positions at O'Connor & Drew, P.C., Vitale, Caturano & Company, and roles in accounting at Dell and Whole Foods Market. Jeff graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst in 2001.
