Rikki Doetsch

Rikki Doetsch is a student at Boston University, where Rikki pursued Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology from 2008 to 2012. Rikki has been actively involved in outdoor education, serving as an Outdoor Educator at the Boojum Institute for Experiential Education since August 2013, where Rikki manages and instructs primary school aged student groups in various outdoor disciplines including canoe travel and rock climbing. Additionally, Rikki has held the position of Leader at The Road Less Traveled since June 2013 and worked as a food prep, juicer, and server at Sara's Raw Vegan Academy and Cafe from February to May 2014. Rikki also has educational experiences from the National Outdoor Leadership School and the University of Virginia's Semester At Sea program.

The Road Less Traveled

The Road Less Traveled is a life-changing educational travel experience for young people. It's an extraordinary opportunity to join with others, explore humanity and build deep relationships whilst appreciating our world’s vast adventurous scenery and its people. RLT offers domestic and international community service, language and multi-sport adventure travel programs all over the world. We engage in service in the world supporting young people to get outside, seek adventure, experience challenge, make new friends, build community and understand the world and its people in a new way. We encourage involvement; cultivate leadership, excellence, openness and sensitivity, initiative, communal participation, social activism and environmentalism.
