Sarah Jacobs

Sarah Jacobs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and management across various sectors. As co-founder and president of The Robot Garage since May 2011, Sarah has been instrumental in developing a maker space for families in Southeastern Michigan, overseeing finance, brand development, sales, marketing, program development, and operations. Prior to this role, Sarah served as VP of Development at The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, managing membership and development for a non-profit art center. Earlier career roles include Vice President of Merchandising and Purchasing at Broder Brothers Inc., where strategic planning contributed to a significant product line, and Vice President of Purchasing and Merchandising for an international apparel company, Emanuel Ungaro, notable for increasing sales drastically within two years. Sarah began their career as Director of Merchandising at Liz Claiborne Inc., focusing on growth during the company's rapid expansion. Educational credentials include a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and participation in the Goldman Sachs 10KSB program.
