Simon Winter

Simon Winter is the Vice President for Reimagining Humanitarian Nutrition Security at the Rockefeller Foundation and serves as the Executive Director for the Sustainable Agriculture Foundation's International Association. They work to enhance local food systems and resilience through data-driven initiatives. Simon held the position of Executive Director at the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture from 2017 to 2024 and has advised numerous international organizations on sustainable development. With a PhD in economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, Simon has extensive experience in agriculture and food systems, having previously worked with TechnoServe and McKinsey & Company.
