Carlos Voulminot Ferres is an accomplished investment manager with extensive experience in forestry and investment management. Currently serving as Vice President at The Rohatyn Group since June 2018, Carlos has held various roles in the field, including Assistant Vice President and Forestry Investment Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed annual asset valuations, reporting, forest planning, and budgeting. Notable previous positions include Forest Analyst at Timbertec, Intern at GMO Renewable Resources, Assistant Researcher at INIA Uruguay, and Forestry Planning Technical Analyst at Montes del Plata. Carlos holds a Master of Forest Resources in Forest Business Management from the University of Georgia and an Agronomist degree from Universidad de la República in Uruguay. Additionally, an International Baccalaureate in Agronomia was attained from The British Schools in Montevideo.
