John M. Simmons

John M. Simmons is the founder and managing partner of The Roosevelt Group, a position held since March 2012. Before this, John served as a Senior Advisor at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP for 11 years, where the national security lobbying practice was launched. John's career began in the U.S. House of Representatives, where a decade was spent as an appropriations associate and military legislative assistant to Rep. James T. Simmons holds a B.S. in Finance and International Relations from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has furthered education through executive education certificates in Cybersecurity from Harvard University and Artificial Intelligence from MIT Sloan School of Management.
