John Meade

John Meade is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and public service sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at The Roosevelt Hotel since 2005, John Meade oversees the daily operations of the engineering department for a 1,015-room facility, having previously held the role of Assistant Director of Engineering. Prior to this, John Meade was an Assistant Director of Engineering at Interstate Hotels & Resorts from 2005 to 2011 and spent 20 years with the NYC Police Department, where John Meade supervised HVAC operations. Earlier career experience includes serving as an HVAC Engineer at Pfizer Inc. and as a Petty Officer 1st Class in the United States Navy, specializing in the maintenance of high-pressure boilers and generators on aircraft carriers.
