Ashley Hasler

Ashley Hasler has a diverse range of work experience. Ashley is currently the Director of Engineering at The Rounds, where they oversee the engineering department. Prior to this, they held the role of Software Engineering Team Lead at the same company. Ashley also worked as a Lead Frontend Developer, where they established best practices and development principles for frontend environments.

In addition to their experience at The Rounds, Ashley has a strong background in freelance web development. Ashley has been doing freelance WordPress websites for various clients since 2016.

Ashley also co-founded the East Coast Crafts Marketplace in 2020, where they played a significant role in its establishment.

Before joining The Rounds and pursuing freelance work, Ashley worked at REDspace Inc. as a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer. Additionally, Ashley completed a co-op requirement at IBM as an IT Specialist, focusing on front-end development of web and mobile applications using the MEAN stack and AngularJS.

Before entering the tech industry, Ashley worked as a Summer Administrator at The Hector Heritage Quay, where they trained staff, scheduled site tours, and updated social media platforms. Ashley also worked as a Sports Information Assistant at Acadia University, providing support in sports information management.

Ashley Hasler's education history begins with their graduation from Northumberland Regional High School in 2011 as an International Baccalaureate Graduate. Following that, they attended Acadia University from 2011 to 2015 where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Psychology. In 2011, they also received the Diplôme D'études en Langue Française (DELF B2) certification from the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP). Later, Ashley pursued further education at Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC, where they completed a Diploma in Web Programming from 2015 to 2017, specializing in Information Technology.
