Martijn de Heus

Martijn de Heus has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and data analytics. Martijn started their career as an Intern at SkinVision in 2014, where they contributed to various tasks during the early stages of the start-up. Martijn then gained more experience as an Internship Data Analytics at machtfit GmbH in 2015. Later that year, they joined Workrate as a Datacenter beveiliger, a role they held until 2019. In 2018, they worked as a Software Developer at Eonics for a brief period. Martijn then joined SkinVision again in 2019 as a Software Engineer for a limited time. Following this, they went on to work as a Software Engineer at Hazelcast from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at The Routing Company.

Martijn de Heus has pursued a comprehensive educational journey in the field of computer science and related disciplines. Starting in 2008, Martijn completed their VWO degree at Laar en Berg. Following this, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology in 2014 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in BSc Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis, and Management in 2019.

During their undergraduate studies, Martijn also undertook a pre-master program in Computer Science at Delft University of Technology from 2017 to 2018. In addition, they pursued a minor in Innovation, Co-Creation, and Global Impact at Leiden University from 2016 to 2017.

Building upon their solid foundation, Martijn continued their academic career at Delft University of Technology, where they completed their Master of Science in Computer Science in 2021. Throughout their educational journey, Martijn has demonstrated a keen interest and specialization in the field of computer science.

Alongside their formal education, Martijn has also obtained additional certifications. In 2012, they acquired the Certificate of the Middle Years Programme from the International Baccalaureate. In 2013, they earned the Cambridge English: Advanced Certificate from Cambridge English Language Assessment.

With a strong academic background in computer science and complementary qualifications, Martijn de Heus is well-equipped to pursue a successful career in their chosen field.
