Dr Simon Lam

Dr. Simon Lam is a highly experienced rheumatologist, currently practicing at a private clinic in Heidelberg, VIC, since 2008, while also serving as Head of Medical Unit 1 and Consultant Rheumatologist and General Physician at Austin Health. Dr. Lam has contributed as a Regional Examiner for the Central North West Physician Training Consortium since 2012 and served on the Medical & Scientific Advisory Committee for Osteoporosis Australia from 2012 to 2018. Previous experience includes a rheumatology position at Western Health from 2009 to 2016. Dr. Lam holds several prestigious medical qualifications, including FRACP in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, MRCP and FRCP Edin from the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), a CCPU in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne, with an educational background from Scotch College.
