Barry John Lomax

Barry John Lomax is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in development management and planning regulation. Currently serving as the Head of Development Management at the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames since July 2015, Barry has held various prominent roles, including interim Group Manager and Lead Office Development Management. Prior experience includes managing a Development Control team at Waverley Borough Council and serving as a Senior Minerals and Waste Planner at Surrey County Council, along with roles in principal planning consultancy and local government planning. Barry's academic background includes an Undergraduate Master's degree in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Liverpool.
