Colin Pendry is a seasoned botanist with extensive experience in plant research and editing. Since July 2004, Colin has served as the Editor for the Flora of Nepal at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, where responsibilities include writing accounts and coordinating contributions from other authors. Prior to this role, Colin worked as a Research Fellow on the Tropical Dry Forests Project and focused on significant tree species in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Earlier research experience includes a position at Trinity College Dublin, revising the Polygalaceae family for various botanical floras. Colin holds a PhD in Tropical Ecology from the University of Stirling and a degree in Biological Sciences specializing in Botany from The University of Edinburgh.
